Mako Ozaki Artist Statement:
Nisei (second generation), born and raised on the North Shore of O’ahu and nurtured in the culture of parents from Japan. This collection of images reflect the simple and nostalgic feel of our island home of Hawai’i. All images shot on 35mm.
Brian Silva Artist Statement:
“I take photos because I fear, one day I may lose memory of it all.”
