Pinholes at High-Tide by Ross Togashi 11/10-12/20/14

From the series:
PINHOLES AT HIGH-TIDE
November 10 – current

This is a series of pinhole photographs of trash, debris, flotsam, jetsam, and other items found along the O‘ahu seashore.

What do these found objects tell us about who we are, inhabitants of this small planet?  How will the pleasant hobby of beachcombing change once the Japan tsunami debris begins to reach Hawai‘i?  Why do I feel compelled to photograph these objects and make these images?

These are some of the questions I seek answers to while exploring the coastline with camera in hand.
